Wolf, Sylvia

American, b. 1957

Sylvia Wolf completed a bachelor’s degree in French literature from Northwestern University and an MFA in photography from Rhode Island School of Design. Wolf is the director of the University of Washington’s Henry Art Museum. She previously held curatorial positions at the Whitney Museum of American Art and the Art Institute of Chicago. Wolf has also been an educator at many institutions in New York, including New York University's Tisch School of Art, the School of Visual Arts, and Columbia University.
