Suzanne Szucs completed a BFA at the San Francisco Art Institute (1992) and an MFA at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (1995). She is represented in The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, 1995 Graduate and Faculty Portfolio. Using the body and the landscape as points of reference, Szucs' photographs deal with the physical and emotional residuals of everyday activities and the elements that shape identity. Szucs has taught at Rochester Institute of Technology, the University of Minnesota-Duluth, the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and a number of other institutions.
