Shorr, Kenneth

Kenneth Schorr completed a BA at Arizona State University, Tempe (1975) and an MFA at the University of California, Los Angeles (1978). The 20/20 portfolio, published in 1985 by UCLA, gathered the work of twenty photographers who had completed the graduate photography program within the last twenty years. Schorr was included along with Ellen Brooks, Gillian Brown, Jack Butler, Darryl Curran, Jo Ann Callis, Judy Coleman, Darryl J. Curran, William Doherty, Sidney Doniger, John Divola, Robbert Flick, Jeff Gates, Graham Howe, Paul Knotter, Victor Landweber, Philip Melnick, Kenneth McGowanPatrick Nagatani, Karen O'Hearn, Pat O'Neill, Sheila Pinkel, Scott Rankin, and Elfie Wilkins-Nacht. Shorr has received three NEA Photography Fellowships. His work is held in the permanent collections of the Center for Creative Photography, Tucson, AZ and the Art Institute of Chicago, Chicago, IL, among others.
