Whitten Sabbatini’s book and series, "Another Day in Paradise" (2018), is the result of many travels between Chicago and his hometown on the Mississippi Delta between 2014 and 2017. Fueled by nostalgia for the south, the book is peppered with disarming portraits and quiet landscapes which form a tender document of home that underscores the beauty hidden within the mundane. Sabbatini received his MFA from Columbia College Chicago in 2017. He has shown in a solo exhibition at the Memphis Brooks Museum of Art, TN (2014); and has been included in exhibitions at the Ogden Museum of Southern Art, LA (2018); and Atlanta Contemporary Art Center, GA (2014); among many others.
