Kotalik, Bob
An award-winng press photographer, Bob Kotalik spent the majority of his lengthy career at the Chicago Sun-Times. He started at the newspaper in the mid-1940s as a copy boy. After serving in the Army Signal Corps for two years during World War II, Kotalik returned to the Sun-Times in 1947 and was hired as a photographer. In 1972 he became the newspaper's chief photographer and he worked for the publication for 47 years, until his retirement in 1990.
