Denis Kempe is a photographer and gallerist based in Seattle. Working with a Leica rangefinder camera, he often photographs on city streets, focusing on architectural details or concentrating on man-made geometric forms or on light as a compositional element. Prior to embarking on a career in photography in his thirties, Kempe worked as a machinist for a tool-making company.
