Lourdes Grobet was born in Mexico City. She has studied visual arts at Iberoamericana University in Mexico City, graphics and photography at Cardiff College of Art in Great Britain, photography at Derby College for Higher Education in Great Britain, and Introduction to Virtual Reality and Multimedia at the National Center of Arts in Mexico City.
