Felipe Ehrenberg was born in Mexico City in 1943. Initially trained as a printer, he has gone on to pursue a multifaceted career as a visual artist working in the media of painting, printmaking, artist books, perfomance art, and installation. He is also a teacher and a writer. He currently lives in São Paulo, Brazil. Enrenberg's archives are held at Stanford University in Palo Alto, California.
